Sunday dinner at our house is exactly what you might expect from an Italian family - we get together, we eat, and there's always plenty happening before dinner even makes it to the table.

Chips and dip come out, drinks get poured, everyone catches up, and eventually we get around to the actual meal. So naturally, we had to see if we could turn Grunt's into a dip.

Turns out, we could.

And it's delicious.

Grunt's Garlic Herb Dip

An easy creamy garlic herb dip made with Grunt's Garlic Herb Blend. Mix it up in minutes for vegetables, chips, crackers, or spreading on sandwiches.

Prep: 5 minutes | Chill: 30 minutes | Total: 35 minutes | Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sour cream

  • 1 tbsp Grunt's Garlic Herb Blend

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise to reduce tangy flavor

  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp milk to thin

Instructions

1. Mix. Stir the sour cream, mayonnaise, Grunt's, and lemon juice until combined.

2. Rest. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the dried garlic and herbs hydrate and the flavors develop.

3. Adjust. Stir and taste. Add additional Grunt's if desired or a splash of milk for a thinner consistency.

4. Serve. Pair with fresh vegetables, potato chips, crackers or whatever needs dipping.

A Few Notes

  • Prefer a tangier dip? Skip the mayonnaise and use 1 cup sour cream instead.

  • This one actually gets better after sitting in the refrigerator.

  • For a lighter version, substitute plain Greek-style dairy-free yogurt if desired.
