Grunt's garlic herb butter for bread, fish, and more.

This barely qualifies as a recipe, which makes us like it even more. Soften some butter, stir in Grunt’s and suddenly you have a delicious garlic-herb butter to keep on hand. It's one of the easiest ways to understand what Grunt's can do.

Mix it into softened butter and suddenly you've got something for bread, steak, chicken, fish, vegetables, potatoes and pasta. Make it once and let the refrigerator do some of the dinner planning for you.

Grunt's Garlic Herb Butter

Easy garlic herb compound butter made with Grunt's Garlic Herb Blend. Melt it over steak, chicken, vegetables and potatoes or spread it straight onto warm bread.

Prep: 5 minutes | Chill: 30 minutes | Total: 35 minutes | Makes: ½ cup

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tbsp Grunt's Garlic Herb Blend

  • Optional: 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

1. Stir softened butter and Grunt's together until evenly combined. Add lemon zest if desired.

2. Let the flavors develop. For immediate use, let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes. For firmer compound butter, refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer.

3. Spread on warm bread or melt over steak, chicken, fish, potatoes, pasta or vegetables.

A Few Notes

  • Using unsalted butter lets Grunt's handle the seasoning.

  • Make a double batch and keep it in the refrigerator for easy dinners.

  • Roll the butter into a log using parchment paper, chill and slice off a round whenever you need it.

  • This is one of those tiny things that makes a very ordinary dinner taste like you tried much harder than you did.
